We have some exciting news to share with you in the next few weeks. Our company will be undergoing a name change and will now be known as Ursamin.
But why the change? While MyHealthHatch was originally intended to solve the problem of managing medical records, we have come to realize that people need their records for a specific purpose. Whether it’s to see a specialist, save money on healthcare costs, or get the right care for a sick family member, everyone needs their records to solve a problem.
MyHealthHatch was simply a repository for records, but we wanted a name that reflected the action of using those records to improve health and well-being. We also received feedback from investors who didn’t fully understand the purpose of our company, so we wanted a name that was more descriptive and memorable.
After much consideration, we landed on Ursamin, which is inspired by the Ursa Minor constellation. This constellation is often used for navigation, which aligns with our mission to help people navigate the complex healthcare system. It’s also a short, memorable name that has meaning behind it.
